AWARD winning artist Sarah Gillard joins forces with fellow creative Herewood Gabriel to bring a week of imaginative workshops to Stroud.

Suitable for children and adults, the sessions will run at the Lansdown Gallery from Monday, August 8 to Saturday, August 13.

A variety of subjects will be covered, including painting to music, willow lanterns, book making and stained glass effects.

Sarah’s painting Rose and Buddleia, shown here, was recently awarded first prize in the Flower Power Art Challenge at The Strand Gallery in London.

It was run by the Greenfingers charity, who make gardens in children’s hospices.

Sarah has a passion for colour; an ex- colourist for Liberty’s, her work has been published by Museums & Galleries.

Herewood Gabriel is a multi talented artist and one of his talents is making giant willow lanterns, which he has been creating for street processions in Stroud and Totnes for the last 10 years.
