THE Perryway Players and Livewire Amateur Dramatics Society present Once Upon A Pantomime at Cadbury Hall, Frampton on Severn from January 4-7.

Written by Tracy Rogers and directed by Jessica Grace Weaver and Rhys Maule, the show brings to life classic characters including the evil Rumplestiltskin, the famous princesses, Snow White, Cinderella and Rapunzel, and not forgetting - The Seven Dwarves.

The plot sees three particularly unpleasant witches, together with Rumpelstiltskin, portrayed by Craig Hunt, plan to remove all of the princes from Fairyland so that there will be no-one to stop them in their bid to rule the Kingdom.

They are foiled by Dame Rosy Parker, portrayed by David Wheeler (nosy to her friends) and the comedy duo Timmy Tailor, portrayed by Daisy Niblett and Tommy Tinker, portrayed by Kitty Cockin.

Once upon a Pantomine delivers everything the audience have come to expect from a Perryway Players pantomime, including a gallant hero, a feisty damsel, a villainous baddie to boo off stage and plenty of comedy slapstick, dazzling costumes and fairytale sets, as well as an unexpected twist when the mysterious fairy godmother finally appears.

Combine all this with non-stop music as well as dancing and laughter and tis makes for a great outing for the whole family at this festive time of year.
