YOUNG dancers will celebrate all things English in a spectacular show, coming to Cirencester's Bingham Hall on January 27 and 28.

Harry Potter, James Bond and Mary Poppins are just some of the characters who will be featuring in an entertaining new show by dancers from the Cirencester-based Body Workshop Dance.

Around 100 youngsters aged five to 21 will be treading the boards in Essentially English, a lively show for all the family featuring ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary dances.

The Body Workshop Dance performs a show every year in Cirencester and donates the proceeds to charity.

Last year’s show, Route 66, raised £600 for The Caring Cancer Trust which funds research into cancer and provides healing holidays for children recovering from cancer.

Proceeds from this year’s show will be donated to Acorns Children’s Hospice, a charity that provides care for babies, children and young people with life limiting or life threatening conditions and support for their families.
