NEW Brewery Arts in Cirencester will be showcasing exciting and beautiful new work from South West Scotland this Spring, thanks to a partnership with Upland.

Each year Upland selects up to 100 artists and makers from Dumfries and Galloway to take part in Spring Fling.

Renowned for being Scotland’s premier open studios visual art and craft, Spring Fling enjoys a national and international reputation in a region which claims more artists per head than anywhere else in Scotland.

New Brewery Arts has chosen 28 of these artists to showcase their work in the South West.

These include printmakers, photographers, jewellers, ceramicists, blacksmiths, sculptors and textile designers.

Joanna Macaulay, Spring Fling, Upland’s events and exhibitions manager, said: "Dumfries and Galloway is an incredibly creative place and home to many remarkable artists and makers who love to live and work in a region of inspiring beauty and with strong artistic traditions.

"We are really looking forward to coming to the Cirencester and showcasing some of Scotland's superb contemporary visual art and craft for a new audience."

  •  Spring Fling will open at New Brewery Arts in Cirencester on March 25 and will run until May 14.
