THE Oriana Singers, a local chamber choir, are performing Handel's Oratorio 'Messiah' in St James’ The Great Church, Dursley on Saturday, April 1.
The choir will be accompanied by a full professional baroque orchestra, the Severn Strings Orchestra, led by Justine Tomlinson, and welcomes back the soloists Gillian Wells, Samuel Jenkins and Olivia Gomez who delighted last year’s audience at the Mozart “Requiem”. Local bass, David Child, will also be joining the choir as the fourth soloist.
The concert starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets, priced £12, are available from Durcan’s in Dursley, via the website at orianasingersglos.org or on the door.
