STROUD Ceilidhs returns to the Lister Hall in Dursley on Saturday, April 1 for some high energy barn dancing.

Complete with live music from Banter and caller Phil Bassindale to guide dancers through the moves, there’s no experience required and it’s not necessary to bring a partner to join in the fun.

This year’s band is Banter which consists of three talented musicians, Simon Care, Tim Walker and Nina Zella who all bring a fresh sound to English traditional music with blarey brss, funky Rhodes and pumping squeezebox.

Expect to forget your musical boundaries with songs that are barking social comment with pop beats, irony and ridiculously danceable tunes.
