TALENTED Cirencester songwriter Debbie Blackwell has got cause for celebration, as one of her songs, written especially for the massively popular K-Pop South Korean girl group Twice, has featured prominently on their new album release Signal.
The song, Only You, was written for the world-famous nine-piece South Korean band by Debbie in collaboration with London-based music producer David Anthony.
Twice is currently enjoying the success of achieving the most viewed music video in K-Pop girl group history with over 190 million views worldwide on YouTube.
Signal sold a record breaking 42,444 copies in the first day after it’s launch and has already entered the official UK Top 40 album chart.
It is in the Top 10 worldwide in iTunes.
Debbie said: "It is a dream come true and I’m absolutely thrilled and excited to have co-written a song for ‘Twice’."
She added: "They are the biggest girl group in Korea right now and are absolutely killing it. I am so happy to 'The Kennel', for placing this song and to EKKO Music Rights, in Stockholm, Sweden. ”
