  • A BOOK sale is being held at Quenington Church until July. The church will be open all day, every day. All books are 50p.

Friday, June 16

Cirencester

  • A FREE history lecture ‘Digging into the Past’ is on at the Corn Hall at 7pm. It is an Abbey 900 initiative in conjunction with Cotswold Archaeology. 
  • BREWERY Blues is at Cirencester Rugby Club from 7.45pm, featuring Circe’s Diner, Ewan Macintrye, the Familiars and Antoine Architeuthis. Tickets are £10 on the door, with £8 concession. There is parking on site and a licensed bar. Visit crfc.co.uk for more information.

Saturday, June 17

Cirencester

  • FREE Abbey walk at 12pm about the historical importance of the Abbey and its legacy. Meet by the LEGO Abbey build in St John Baptist.
  • THE Craftsman’s Market is in the Corn Hall from 10am-4.30pm, selling quality British hand-made crafts.

Culkerton

  • NINE beautiful gardens will be open in Culkerton and Ashley from 2-5pm. Refreshments will be served at Culkerton, with a plant sale at Ashley. Admission is £5, with children free. Also open on Sunday.

Sunday, June 18

Cricklade

  • THE 10th annual Cricklade Festival is on from 11am-4pm, with popular entertainers, fairground attractions and street stalls. Organisers have created a wide variety, with something to suit everyone. Visit crickladefestival.com for more. 

Malmesbury

  • THE funny and endearing film ‘Burn, Burn, Burn,’ about two women’s nostalgic roadtrip to spread their friend’s ashes, is the Malmesbury Film Society’s next choice. The movie starts at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Hall.

North Cerney

  • CERNEY House Gardens is open from 10am to 5pm with coffee, cake and cream teas. Adults cost £5 with children free. Proceeds go to the NGS who support Macmillan and other charities. 

Yanworth

  • STOWELL Park Open Gardens from 2-5pm. All proceeds to NGS, Yanworth & Stowell Churches, Royal British Legion and Macmillan Nurses. Cream teas available. Entrance for adults is £6, children are free. 

Monday, June 19
