TETBURY is holding its annual summer show on Sunday, August 13. Now incorporating the flower show, this will be a fun day out for all the family.

The event opens with a vibrant and colourful parade through town, starting in the Market Place at 12.45pm and arriving at the Memorial Recreation Ground in New Church Street at 1pm.

The parade will be led by the Bristol Pipes and Drums and also include Professor Crump, the town crier, Trigger the Land Train, a Bollywood Council Truck, The Dolphins Dramatic Society and many more.
New to the parade are Ghia Chia, a samba band from Dursley’s World Jungle, and Stereo Heads from Swindon.

There will also be music to dance to, or just to tap your toes to down Long Street, after the parade.

Upon arriving in style in a steam car, the mayor of Tetbury, Stephen Hirst, will officially open the marquee, where all the flowers, vegetables and crafts will be displayed and judged.

There will be a dog show, a wide variety of stalls, face painting and food, as well as a selection of rides and activities suitable for all the family.

  • Entry is £2.50 for adults, £1 for 12-16 years and under 12 is free. There is plenty of parking via the Chavenage Lane entrance.
