HAVING returned from a successful European tour, alt-pop ensemble Amber Run have just announced a new succession of UK appearances, including Gloucester’s Guildhall on September 30.

After the success of their album 'For a Moment, I Was Lost,' Amber Run will be releasing a new EP on September 22, just in time for their Gloucester performance.

Amber Run front man Joe Keogh, explained the album's significance.

"We wanted a different challenge from how we normally record, so we decided to make an acoustic EP," Joe said.

"It was important that we got really great performances, without hiding behind the veneer of production."

Although Amber Run have started playing to large crowds, the band still value their smaller venues.

"Playing any live show is hilarious and playing to smaller crowds in towns we’ve never played before was something that we really wanted to do on this tour," he said.

"We wanted to go and play to people that have never seen us live before - look them in the eyes and welcome them into the fold."

And Gloucestershire is no exception.

"We are unbelievably excited to come and play in Gloucester. We already feel a real affinity to the town from years of playing at Barn on the Farm Festival, a real favourite of ours. Let's continue the love affair!" Joe concluded.

See Amber Run in the Guildhall on September 30 at 7.30pm for £14.30.
