THE Times Cheltenham Literature Festival is obviously a boon for book-lovers, but this year's event is also a foodie heaven.
Star chefs speaking at the festival between October 6 and October 15, include Nadiya Hussain, Nigella Lawson, Mary Berry, Tom Kerridge, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and many more.
The Daffodil, a beautiful art deco former cinema, is the new venue for the festival’s food events.
Embark on culinary adventures around the globe. Start in Japan with former Nobu head chef Scott Hallsworth, then move on to Catalonian tapas with Jose Pizarro. Or see how poetry and music add to the dining experience with Pakinstni chef Sumayya Usmani.
If you're planning a physical trip, don't miss Joel Harrison and Neil Ridley's travel advice on where to find the best cocktail joints.
And of course, in the revamped festival village itself, there will be an endless variety of street food traders to keep literary-lovers fuelled.
Visit cheltenhamfestivals.com/literature for more information or call 01242 850270 to book events after September 7. Festival member booking opens on August 30.
