AN EXCITING new annual arts trail is being launched this year in Dursley, showcasing affordable art from the Dursley area.
The Tyndale Arts Week, from October 7-8, is the brainchild of painter Judith Pemberton-Bennetts who said: “There is a lot of artistic talent in the Dursley area but there are limited opportunities to show it off.
"Existing art trails are centred on Stroud and Thornbury and Dursley tends to fall through the net. We aim to showcase affordable art from the Dursley area featuring the best work from local artists and makers and hope that this will become an annual event.”
The local traders have also supported the event by showcasing a piece of art in their shop windows.
Work by local painters, photographers, sculptors and those who work in textiles, ceramics, glass, mosaics and much more will be on display over two days from October 7-8 between 10- 4pm.

- Work can be seen at Kingshill House, the Courtyard Cafe, St James's Church, Dursley Tabernacle, the Methodist Church and Studio Maru.
