ORCHESTRA Pro Anima will be giving a concert in the Great Hall of Berkeley Castle, Berkeley, on Sunday, December 3 at 6pm.
Now in its 16th year, this annual event continues to bring its seasonal magic to audiences.
The concert in the Great Hall will be preceded by a reception from 5pm in the Long Drawing Room where you can enjoy wine, mince pies and other festive fare.
The programme comprises a range of music from the baroque, classical and romantic periods including Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No 3, a Mozart violin concerto and Elgar’s Serenade for Strings. Orchestra Pro Anima, directed by Michael Bochmann, was launched in January 2017 and is formed of musicians who have played together over a long period as members of the English String Orchestra and who have performed in this concert every year since 2002.
Tickets at £42 include the reception and further refreshments in the interval and can be obtained from the Roses Theatre Box Office, Tewkesbury on 01684 295074 or online at rosestheatre.org.
Pre-booking is required.
