FOLLOWING their recent sell-out production, “Fiddler on the Roof”, the award-winning COS Productions return to Cirencester’s Barn Theatre stage with “Titanic the Musical”, this May and the Wilts and Glos Standard has got two tickets to giveaway to one reader.

When we think about RMS Titanic, we remember the tragedy on April 14 1912, which caused the loss of 1,514 lives.

What we tend to forget is that up until that moment 2,222 people (passengers and crew) were having the time of their lives, and were on the verge of living their greatest dreams.

“Titanic the Musical” tells the real story of RMS Titanic’s maiden voyage, and the hopes, dreams and regrets of all on board, set to music and lyrics by Maury Yeston.

It originally opened on Broadway in 1997, and won five 5 Tony awards, including “Best Musical”.

It’s a heart-warming tear-jerker, with beautiful symphonic melodies throughout.

With a stunning cast, ably directed by Barry Austin (“Anything Goes” 2015, “Jekyll & Hyde” 2016) and conducted by Rachel Howgego (“Anything Goes” 2015) this looks on course to be another best-seller for COS Productions.

The show will run May 5-12 at the Barn Theatre, Cirencester.

The performance on Monday, May 7 will be in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, with a free glass of prosecco on offer for audience members.

To be in with a chance of winning two tickets to the performance on Monday, May 7.

Tickets are available now from cosproductions.org.
