The rush workshop will be enjoyable, inspiring and productive.
Following a brief introduction on the history and traditions of the harvest and use of English bulrush in Felicity’s business ‘Rush Matters’, it will be hands on for the rest of the weekend.
Felicity has been teaching for more than 20 years in the UK, The Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark.
You do not need any experience and you will have the opportunity to try a range of different techniques that will include weaving, twining, coiling, plaiting, knotting, sewing, roping.
It is possible to take home with you table mats, bathmats, hats, bags, baskets or cushions.
