THE Park Bench Social Club bring their lively fusion of folk, Celtic fiddle, bluegrass, Bhangra and old time Americana to Ruskin Mill, Nailsworth on Friday night.

Coming from different parts of the world, all four musicians contribute a wide range of influences to the band melting pot.

Fiddle player Ross Couper hails from the Shetland Islands and is a holder of the Young Shetland Traditional Fiddler of the Year Award. Bristolian Will Lang plays bodhran and has gained wide spread recognition from being a past All-Britain Champion and All-Ireland finalist. He has also aroused considerable interest from world musicians due to his unique Bhangra bodhran style. Canadian Aidan Curran, on guitar, mandolin and vocals, brings a grounding in bluegrass and blues to the mix. And Tom Wright, a producer and performer of cutting edge English folk and roots music, joins the band on bass.
