Czech teen choir tours

A CHOIR of 50 Czech teenagers, the YMCA Ostrava TenSing Youth Choir, will sing at churches in Woodchester and Minchinhampton this week.
Reverend Mick Wright, antiques dealer in Minchinhampton, and also Curate in the parishes of Brimscombe and Woodchester, made connections in Ostrava when teaching English on a youth summer camp in 1997 and invited the group to visit.
The group will be singing at St Mary's Parish Church, North Woodchester, at 7.30pm on Sunday, and at Holy Trinity, Minchinhampton on Monday at 7.30pm.
They will also be visiting two local schools, Archway and Thomas Keble.
"I hope there will be new links and new relationships made through this visit," said Mick.
