SHARYN O'Flynn is back in the saddle as landlady of the Black Horse in Amberley.
Having served two stints as manageress there, in 1999 and in 2003, she'd become quite attached to the place. So when it came on the market in January this year, she decided it was time to take it on for good.
Six months on and Sharyn is ready to celebrate, with a music, beer and cider festival at the pub this weekend.
Sharyn is no stranger to the music business, having previously managed singer Louise Scott, who will be performing an acoustic set at the pub on Friday evening from 6pm.
Also playing on Friday are Duncan McKenzie and Jonny Bentley of Squeeze.
On Saturday there will be music from midday, with Aynsley Lister, Decipher Manana and Pete Hills, and on Sunday there will be an eight piece jazz band from midday.
Entry fee is £5 on Friday and Saturday, free on Sunday.
Parking is very limited. For further information call 01453 872556, or visit www.blackhorseamberley.co.uk
