A UNIQUE collection of Victorian watercolours can be seen in Painswick this weekend.
Newman Fine Art specialises in watercolours from the 18th to 20th centuries and is regarded as a leading authority in this field. The business originally established by Heather Newman in 1969 at her home in Cranham, now operates from Bell Cottage in the centre of Painswick under the ownership of her son, Derek Newman.
The premises is normally open only by appointment, but in conjunction with the Painswick Arts Festival will be publicly showing a diverse range of period watercolours with an emphasis on local artists and subject matter.
Newman Fine Art will be open from Friday to Sunday, 10am to 6pm.
