FOR the penultimate concert of the Stroud Brass Band Festival season, the Pemberton Old Wigan Band makes a welcome return to the Sub Rooms on Saturday night.

"We all thoroughly enjoy coming to Stroud, as we are made so welcome," said Mark Peacock, musical director.

"April is a busy month for us. Before coming to Stroud we'll be in Belgium, contesting in the Flemish Open Championships."

Pemberton Old Band has a long and outstanding history that can be traced back to 1883.

The concert starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £9 and are available from the Sub Rooms Box Office on 01453 760900.
