A TEENAGER was found in possession of cannabis and ketamine during a police stop and search in Stroud, a court heard.
Angus Webb, 19, was caught by officers in Bank Gardens on Saturday, April 12.
Prosecutor Rebecca Gardner said: "When they searched him, he was in possession of green vegetable matter and 4.61 grams of white powder."
These were later found to be cannabis and ketamine.
Webb, of Bowling Green Avenue, Cirencester, was arrested and admitted the drugs were for his personal use.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of class C drugs at Stroud Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 3.
Defending himself, Webb told the court: "Since the matter, I've given up the drugs and I've spoken to counsellors about my addiction.
"I've done a lot of research about drugs and the damage they do."
He added that he had recently lost his job.
Webb was given a six-month conditional discharge.
