Police continue search for missing 20-year-old George Ford, from Stroud

George Ford, aged 20, has been missing from his home in Slad Road, Stroud since around 3am on Sunday
POLICE are urgently appealing for help in finding 20-year-old George Ford, who has been missing from his home in Slad Road, Stroud since around 3am on Sunday.
George, an engineering student at Nottingham University, is white, around 6ft 1ins tall, with brown, wavy shoulder length hair.
He was last seen wearing a green t-shirt with Hitchhike Morocco across the front, grey combat trousers, a brown satchel bag and black DC trainers.
Police say he was last seen walking towards Stroud town centre around 5am on Sunday morning and the police helicopter has been used as part of the search.
Officers had been trying to locate him by tracing a mobile phone signal but they now believe the device has been switched off.
A laptop and one shoe belonging to George was found in bushes near his home, the SNJ understands.
Anyone with information about George's whereabouts should call police 101 quoting incident 175 of December 16.
