GENEROUS dog walkers on Rodborough Common have been leaving Christmas presents for abandoned pets at Teckels Animal Sanctuary.
Food, toys, leads and bedding have been left under the Dog's Christmas Tree on the common by dog walkers and well wishers this December and donations can still be made over the festive period.
Teckels manager Joan Barrett, said: "It is a phenomenal effort every year. The generosity is just fantastic.
"It is so nice to see that so many care about the animals and want to support us."
Teckels, in Whitminster, rescues and rehomes abandoned or abused dogs and cats and the shelter has benefited from kind donations left at the tree for the last eight years.
