VOLUNTEERS are needed this March to take part in Marie Curie Cancer Care's Great Daffodil Appeal in the Stroud area.
The appeal is Marie Curie's biggest fundraiser and encourages people to wear a daffodil pin throughout the month.
Volunteers are needed to donate an hour of their time to hand out the charity's iconic pin.
Catherine Butt, community fundraiser for Gloucestershire, said: "We need more than 100 people from the Stroud area to help us collect this March.
"Collecting is such a great experience and I hope everyone will help us make this yearÕs Great Daffodil Appeal a success."
Money raised from the appeal will help Marie Curie Nurses provide free care to those with terminal illness in their own home.
