Fourteen cars vandalised overnight in Nailsworth

FOURTEEN cars were vandalised overnight in Nailsworth on Sunday.

The spate happened between 12 midnight and 10am on Sunday, January 20, near the George pub in New Market Road.

All 14 vehicles targeted had the front or rear windscreen wipers broken and one had a wing mirror damaged.

It is thought that the offender(s) then made their way along Newmarket Road, Dark Lane and Seven Acres Road.

The vehicles damaged included:

  *   Grey Peugeot 207
  *   One green and one grey Audi A3
  *   Black Volkswagen Touran
  *   Silver Kia Rio
  *   Black Ford Ka
  *   Red Mini One
  *   Silver Suzuki Grand Vitara
  *   Blue Renault Modus
  *   Grey Citroen C4
  *   Red Ford Focus

A female resident of Newmarket Road also reported damage to her fence. It is not sure if this is related.

Anyone with information that could help the investigation should call police on 101 quoting incident 194 of January 20.
