Parking in Minchinhampton is a 'monumental problem'

TEMPERS flared in Minchinhampton on Monday night when parish councillors discussed parking in the town centre.

Concerns were raised about drivers parking on double yellow lines and being left all day in the car park.

Nick Hurst, chairman of Minchinhampton Parish Council, said: "This issue is not going to go away until enforcement is used. It is a monumental problem that is getting worse."

The town council will now investigate the cost of providing its own enforcement.
