A MAN was killed after being hit by a train at Standish junction near Stonehouse, yesterday, Wednesday.
British Transport Police were called to the scene at 8.10am after receiving reports of a body on the tracks.
The man was hit at 7.11am by a First Great Western Gloucester to Swindon service near Standish junction.
It is thought the man was in his 50s and from Stroud.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
