A NEW eco-friendly lighting system at Archway School sports centre in Stroud will reduce annual energy costs by £4,000.
The £11,500 project – funded by Gloucestershire County Council – will also improve the quality of lightingMotion detectors ensure lights only come on when the sports hall is in use.
Centre manager James Jeffery said: "Not only is the new system eco-friendly but it has allowed us to provide better lighting for the people who use the centre while reducing our energy costs."
