IT WAS a case of suspicious fries when Elvis impersonator Joe Reeve rocked up at the McDonald's drive-through in Stroud.

Staff were left all shook up by Joe, whose film of the stunt has gone viral.

"I wanted to do something to promote my new show and thought it would be fun to film Elvis at unusual locations in Stroud," said Joe, 42.

"Staff carried on as though I was another customer and stayed very professional which makes the video even funnier."

Joe, a father-of-three who lives in Uplands, has been impersonating Elvis for five years.

He has also filmed a video at the Job Centre and at Ebley Mill, which he tried to buy.

His next gig is at Lansdown Hall, Stroud on Saturday, February 16 from 8pm.

Tickets are available from the Trading Post in Kendrick Street.
