A VINTAGE sign has been stolen from outside the Sharland & Lewis Home store in Days Mill, Nailsworth.

Shop owner Libbs Lewis came into work on Monday, January 28,  to find that the stores sign was missing.

"We are all really upset about it," said shop manager Julia Mills. "It was a lovely old vintage sign that just sums up the shop.

"The police are investigating the incident but there's not really much they can do.

"Hopefully someone has taken it for a joke and will return it when they realise how much we miss it."

Anyone with information which could help locate the sign should call police on 101 quoting incident 215 of January 29.
