AFTER a visit to AJ's Hair Salon in Cainscross, web designer Crockett Cresswell is red-y to raise awareness of heart disease.

Crockett had his hair and beard dyed bright red last Tuesday, January 29, to celebrate the start of National Heart Month for the British Heart Foundation.

He said: "I wanted to do something to make a statement. With heart disease killing more people in the UK than anything else, I wanted to draw attention to it and help raise money to fight against it."

Crockett's hair was transformed by stylist Kate Williams-Brown, who is also chairman of the Stroud BHF fundraising group.
