ENTERPRISING schoolchildren are busy organising fundraising events to help pay for a new wooden climbing frame in their playground.
Stroud District Council gave the school a grant of £5,200 to help towards the £8,800 cost of the equipment and the school paid the remaining amount.
Now the 13 pupils who form the Cashes Green Primary School Council are trying to raise as much as they can to pay some of the money back to the school.
They organised a cake sale, a non-uniform day and there is going to be a dress up day in the next couple of weeks.
Children are thrilled with the new play fort, which has a clatter bridge which they particularly enjoy using.
The equipment was installed by Stroud based outdoor play equipment designers PLAYahead.
