Anger after plans revealed for 120 homes in Stonehouse

INITIAL plans have been revealed for 120 home to be built on a field off Bristol Road in Stonehouse.

Families from Avenue Terrace, who live opposite the site, turned out to voice their opposition at a public meeting on Thursday held by consultants Pegasus Planning Group for developers Robert Hitchins.

A spokesperson for Pegasus said the company was pleased by the level of response and that comments would be taken into consideration before more detailed plans are submitted in April.

But of Avenue Terrace resident Samantha Kemmett said: "I think most of the residents found the meeting quite unhelpful and it did nothing to ease our concerns about the proposed plans."
