Murder investigation launched after Cirencester man, 45, suffers groin injuries

Police have launched an investigation after the death of a man in Cirencester.

At around 1am on Friday March 1, police were called to a property in Watermoor Road after ambulance crews treated a 45 year old man for injuries to his groin.

The man’s health deteriorated quickly and he died at the scene at around 1.15am.

A 42 year old man from Cirencester has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody.

Anyone with information that could help the investigation should call police on 101 quoting incident 14 of March 1.
