STROUD teenager Tristan Blick is through to the semi-finals of a TV cookery competition.
Tristan, 19, is part of the Star Bistro team at National Star College who won their regional heat on an episode of new ITV series Food Glorious Food screened on Wednesday, February 27.
Their Pimm's summer jelly won the praise of the judges which include Anne Harrison, Tom Parker Bowles and Stacie Stewart.
The winner of the series, hosted by Loyd Grossman and Carol Vorderman, will collect £20,000 and have their dish produced and sold by Marks & Spencer.
Tristan, along with fellow students Georgina Ivins, 18, and Rachel Janes, 20, and former student Joe Cook will now prepare for the semi-finals in April.
Tristan, who is in his third year at National Star College in Ullenwood near Cheltenham, is studying customer service as part of his City and Guilds in employability and personal development.
Their Star Pimm's summer jelly is on the menu at Star Bistro and they hope people will come and try it for themselves.
The recipe was created by the students and the bistro team and showcases local suppliers including Three Choirs, Creed, Primrose Vale and Darcy Wines.
National Star College supports young people with disabilities.
The bistro is open to the public, 01242 535984 for details.
