5:00pm Friday 8th March 2013 in News By SNJ Reporter
AN expensive antique ring and £400 cash were stolen from a house in Frampton Mansell.
The items were taken between Wednesday, February 6, and 9.30pm on Wednesday, March 6, at the house just off the A419.
The aquamarine and diamond antique dress ring is described as having a large oval pale blue stone surrounded by diamonds in a claw setting.
It is 18ct white gold but has been dipped in yellow gold.
There is also an imperfection in the stone if you hold it up to the light.
The owner estimates it would now be worth around £2,000- £3,000.
£400 cash was also taken.
Police are appealing to antiques dealers and residents to be on the lookout for this item as it may have been sold recently.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting incident 86 of March 7.
