THERE'S no disguising the refurbishment of a popular Stroud High Street store.

Clothing shop Brilliant Disguise is set to reopen this week after a seven week makeover.

Owners Jane Mahoney-Wightman and Simon Powell have redecorated the outside and the inside of their store, installed new lighting and transformed the look of their fitting rooms.

They have also created a shoe section and introduced a range of new products such as jewellery, gifts and cards.

"We have spent a lot of time and thought investing in the new look," said Jane, who has worked in retail for around 27 years.

"We wanted to represent our quirky and edgy style and the re-launch is about a lifestyle rather than just clothing and footwear."

The store, which stocks a range of popular brands including Superdry, Vera Moda and Mistral, is hosting a relaunch evening on Thursday, March 14, from 6pm to 9pm.

A 20 per cent discount is available on all goods and customers will receive a free glass of fizz.

On Friday, March 15, the store is hosting an all-day charity event to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

Customers will pay 50p to enter the store which will be matched by the business with all proceeds to BHF and there will be a 10 per cent discount on all purchases.
