CHILDREN planted flowers and decorated fairy cakes to create perfect Mother's Day gifts at Highfield Garden World in Whitminster.
There were beaming smiles on Saturday as personal presents were put together to give mums a special treat.
This week, Highfield Garden World announced plans for a £2.2 million expansion of its Whitminster site.
The business is owned and run by three generations of the Greenway family and employs 90 people but there are plans to recruit more once the development is closer to completion.
Managing director Joan Greenway said: "This substantial development will help us offer even more of what our customers want and create more jobs for local people."
Work has begun and is expected to be completed in the autumn.
