FOUR people have been arrested after a disturbance in Stonehouse on Monday.

During the incident in Juniper Way at 6pm a woman suffered an arm injury and was taken to hospital by paramedics.

A second person was treated for a head injury and a third suffered facial injuries.

Both were treated by medical staff at the scene.

Three men and one woman have been arrested on suspicion of affray.

Inspector Jon Smith said “We want to reassure the residents of Stonehouse that although the events of Monday evening were disturbing, it is an isolated incident in our town.

"As a result of this disturbance, we will be increasing the presence of officers in the area over the coming days.

“I would urge anyone who may have seen something in the Juniper Way area on Monday evening to come forward. Your information could be vital in establishing the full facts”.
