Fire at electricity sub station treated as suspicious

A FIRE at a sub station in Hardwicke this morning is being treated as suspected arson.

The fire service attended the blaze at the sub station in Severnvale Drive, Hardwicke, just before 6am today, Thursday.

A stolen moped, which had been set on fire, is believed to have spread to the sub station and caused the blaze.

A fire investigation has deemed the cause of the moped fire to be suspicious.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting incident 46 of March 14.
