HOLLY Puttock and Raoul Moore are hoping to start married life together on a sustainable footing.

Rather than a white wedding a green wedding is in the offing for Holly 33, owner Woodruffs in Stroud, Britain's first organic cafe, and head chef Raoul, 32.
The couple are staying true to their roots with an eco-friendly wedding using

organic food, biodynamic wine and recycled tablewear when they tie the knot on May 18, at St Michael's Church in Rock, Cornwall.

Holly and Raoul, who got engaged in February last year, have been busy collecting cutlery, crockery and glasses from local auctions and markets and all the napkins and tablecloths have been made from recycled fabrics.

"It just makes sense because it is what we do at the cafe. It is a challenge but we have the advantage of having our suppliers already," said Holly, who has worked at the popular cafe since it was established in 1998.
