It's official - Stroud is one of the coolest places to live in Britain

STROUD has been ranked as the 19th coolest places to live in Britain by The Times newspaper.
In today's edition, Tuesday, a pull out supplement detailed the top 30 best locations to live in the country.
Preceded by Montpellier in Cheltenham at number 18, Stroud was singled out for its 'cute' boutiques, art galleries and bookshops.
The paper also drew attention to the fact that locals had stopped the BNP from setting up its media centre nearby.
