BASINGSTOKE Live's 2013 headline artists have been announced.
Taking the top slot on Saturday July 13 are Bashy and CJ Beatz (BBC 1xtra). Bashy is one of the most celebrated rappers in the new sphere of UK Hip Hop, earning a MOBO award nomination for his album Catch Me If You Can.
Alongside Bashy in 2013 is BBC Radio 1xtra’s CJ Beatz. Having played numerous shows and festivals through out the UK and internationally with the likes of Ms Dynamite and Chipmunk, CJ is fast becoming the BBC 1xtra DJ to watch.
Platinum selling 2-tone band The Selecter, starring Pauline Black and Gaps Hendrickson headline Sunday July 14. Fronted by the original vocal duo, The Selecter are set to deliver Basingstoke Live classic hits such as On my Radio, Three Minute Hero and Too Much Pressure. A show not to be missed for all generations of Ska Lovers!
