HARRY Potter actor Rupert Grint is expected to return to Stroud on Bank Holiday Monday to watch his sister’s band perform at a charity truck pull.

Samantha Grint’s band Ghost of Samantha will perform with other acts on a temporary stage which will be erected in Merrywalks opposite the Apollo cinema.

Bands will perform during the Stroud Charity Truck Pull Challenge in aid of the Door Youth Project between noon and 4pm on Monday.

Rupert surprised fans when he turned up at the recent Kick Start The Summer concert at the Sub Rooms, Stroud, which was also in aid of the Door, to watch his sister open the show.

Organisers have been told that Rupert’s father Nigel will be attending the truck pull ‘with the family’.
