A 40-YEAR-OLD man tried to hide a bag of cocaine and heroin in his mouth when police searched a vehicle at Tesco car park in Stroud, a court heard.
David Bucci, of Dudbridge Hill, Rodborough, was found guilty of two charges of possessing a Class A drug when he appeared at Stroud Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, May 29.
The court heard how Bucci was in the back seat of a Black Ford Fiesta when police detained the vehicle for a drug search around 4.20pm on Thursday, February 14.
Officers seized a bag Bucci had placed in his mouth, which was found to contain 3.59 grams of heroin with a street value of between £140 and £175 and 5.26 grams of cocaine with a street value of between £220 and £270.
At an earlier hearing Bucci admitted to driving from Gloucester with two associates with the sole purpose of purchasing crack cocaine and heroin for his own use.
