Tory tuber triumph - MP Neil Carmichael's award-winning potatoes
MP NEIL Carmichael got his claws into several political hot potatoes at Bisley Fete and Flower Show.
The Tory MP won an award for his kestrel spuds at the show on Saturday which saw a record number of entries this year as a result of the hot weather.
Much-loved milkman Norman Banyard came out of retirement to open proceedings with flower queen Sashi Bush, 11, and her attendants Lydia Coysh, Polly Young and Charlie Trinder, all 11.
Avening Silver Band added a swing to the afternoon and crowds were thrilled by a dog show display from Canine Partners.
Money raised will go towards the upkeep of All Saints Church in Bisley.
