91-year-old woman burgled by police impostor

A 91-year-old woman has had cash and a post office savings book stolen from her by a man posing as a police officer.
The incident happened between 12 noon and 8.50pm on Thursday, September 12 at a house in Culkerton, Tetbury.
The victim was in the house when she discovered the offender standing in the doorway of her living room. When the victim asked what the offender was doing he told her that he was a policeman and that his police van was outside.
The offender is described as white, male and around 23 to 27-years-old. He was of medium build, around 5ft 4in tall and was wearing black clothing, a black hat and a scarf covering his face.
