Eastcombe Primary School recognised for developing links with foreign schools
EASTCOMBE Primary School has been recognised for giving pupils a greater understanding of other cultures and countries.
Efforts to develop links with foreign schools and build international activities into the curriculum have resulted in a re-accreditation an International School Award by the British Council.
Headteacher Angela Ayling said: “As a small village primary school we feel it is important to broaden the children’s horizons by encouraging an understanding of other cultures and the breadth and diversity of the world in which we live."
