PUB workers raised more than £1,000 for charity by cooking and serving up a meal at 17 restaurants across the country in one day.
Old Nelson head chef Marc Clinch and general manager Marcus Lill took on the safari challenge to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital on Wednesday, September 18.
The pair began their 503-mile journey in Swindon at 6.30am and visited all seventeen Brewers Fayre restaurants in their region, including Bognor Regis, Tadworth, Aldershot, Watford, Bicester, Tewkesbury and Gloucester.
They crossed the finish line in Stroud at the Stratford Road pub just after 9.30pm.
Marc and Marcus held collections at each of the restaurants they visited and customers at the Old Nelson were made a donation to guess what time they would arrive back in Stroud for a chance to win a £30 meal.
