CHILDREN at Amberley Parochial School took part in a jean-ius idea to raise money for charity.
Pupils and staff wore their jeans to school and held a cake sale raising £235 for Genetic Disorders UK.
Headteacher Pete Godfrey said: “It was a fantastic amount for a small school and the children have learnt about some of the ways in which our genes don’t always come out perfectly and are not all the same."
Jeans for Genes Day raises money for Genetic Disorders UK, which helps children with genetic disorders.
